Our mission is to empower students to grapple with important global challenges.

We believe students can have a huge positive impact with their lives — but we know that thinking through how to make a difference can be a difficult problem.

Our workshops aim to equip students with the tools to help them on their journey towards positive impact. Our goal is to inform students about what we believe to be the key global challenges of today: artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

We started Global Challenges Project in 2021, and we now run regular workshops for students around the world.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Brown University and graduated in 2020. While at university, I founded the Brown Effective Altruism student group, and was primarily thinking about how to end factory farming.

After graduating, I did academic research on the fluid dynamics of cultivated meat bioreactors, and worked on starting EA Virtual Programs at the Centre for Effective Altruism. Then I shifted to focusing on existential risk reduction, and founding GCP.
